Illinois bed & breakfast fined $81K for declining to host same-sex ceremony

Image result for Timber Creek Bed & Breakfast in Paxton, IllinoisThe owners of Timber Creek Bed & Breakfast in Paxton, Illinois, have been fined over $81,000 for declining to host a homosexual civil union ceremony in 2011.

The Illinois Human Rights Commission has declined to review an administrative judge’s ruling that the owners must pay $30,000 for emotional damage and over $51,000 in attorneys’ fee. 

The owners, Jim and Beth Walder, plan to continue their appeals.
